Ouarzazate
The day
Depart Ouarzazate around 08:30 AM from your riad or hotel. Visit film studios / sets near Ouarzazate before heading toward Aït Ben Haddou. Explore Kasbah Aït Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site used in many films. Drive through the Ounila Valley, passing Berber villages, orchards, terraced fields. Arrive at Kasbah Telouet, the former Glaoui family palace — walk its exterior and learn about its history. Return to Ouarzazate via the southern slopes of the High Atlas Mountains (main Marrakech–Ouarzazate road). Drop you off at your accommodation in Ouarzazate in late afternoon / evening.

Best time to travel.
Spring (March–May) and Autumn (September–November) offer mild temperatures and are ideal for desert travel. Summer can be very hot in the desert, and winter nights may be cold in the mountains.
